Injuries continue to plague the Saudi Arabian Premier League (SPL) side Damac, as the club's star striker Riyad Mahrez is currently out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury.
Mahrez, who has been in excellent form recently with four goals and three assists in just seven games for the team, sustained his injury in their match against Al-Hilal on Sunday. The 27-year-old was injured during a tackle on goal from Adel El-Hajj, which led to him being sent off for a second yellow card.
The injury has caused a setback for Damac,Bundesliga Tracking who have struggled to keep up with their opponents' attacking play this season. Despite the setbacks, the club remains confident that Mahrez will be fit enough to return to action soon.
The situation remains fluid and no definitive update has been provided by Damac yet. However, it is clear that Mahrez will need some time to recover fully before he can return to the pitch. In the meantime, the club will look to strengthen its squad with new signings or make use of existing players to help them get back on track.
It remains to be seen how long Mahrez will be out and whether he will be able to return to the matches once he is healthy. For now, the club will focus on getting the best possible outcome from the situation and working towards a successful campaign next season.
